Construction Consulting

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Our thorough assessments conducted at the project's inception facilitate precise bidding, guarantee equitable pricing, and establish the groundwork for a streamlined construction endeavor.

  • Conduct interviews and research to select architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and specialty contractors to form an optimal team for our clients.

  • Assess and recommend vendors, suppliers of building materials, artisans, and craftsmen.

  • Examine drawings and specifications, offering suggestions to enhance construction quality and address challenges effectively.

  • Offer a non-legal evaluation of contractor and consultant contracts to establish clear responsibilities and expectations from the project's outset.

  • Review the general contractor's construction master plan, material procurement processes, proposed schedule, critical path, and project staffing.

  • Validate and oversee the expediter's timetable for acquiring permits.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

As the nexus between our clients, their architect, the general contractor, and specialized vendors, we orchestrate the development, analysis, and execution of the project schedule, ensuring efficient oversight, timely completion, and adherence to standards by all stakeholders.

Throughout the construction phase, we will:

  • Oversee and rigorously inspect work quality and progress, conducting punch lists at each construction stage, and proactively driving the project schedule for prompt completion.

  • Directly supervise general contractors, subcontractors, and specialized vendors to ensure alignment with the architect’s drawings and specifications.

  • Scrutinize construction drawing submissions for accuracy and completion.

  • Visit manufacturer facilities to verify product quality and adherence to production timelines.

  • Conduct on-site quality control by scrutinizing delivered materials to ensure they meet the highest standards and specifications.

  • Review and provide feedback as necessary on shop drawings, revised architectural details, submissions, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders.

  • Organize weekly meetings and site inspections involving the architect, general contractors, subcontractors, and specialized vendors.

  •  Analyze vendor invoices and contractor pay applications.

  • Cultivate relationships and facilitate communication with neighboring entities, building associations, and local authorities.

POST-CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Our dedication to a project extends until every detail, regardless of size, is resolved to the satisfaction of our clients. To ensure seamless project conclusion, our team will:

  • Supervise the closeout procedures to achieve comprehensive project completion.

  • Verify successful completion of punch lists.

  • Collaborate with the general contractor and specialized contractors to create user guides and maintenance manuals.

  • Carefully review final payments and invoices, ensuring proper enforcement of holdbacks for unfinished work.

  • Ensure timely provision of all contractor and subcontractor closeout documents and as-built drawings as per requirements.
